Trey Alexander, born May 2, 2003, is an American professional basketball player currently playing for the Denver Nuggets in the National Basketball Association (NBA). As a two-way contract player, he splits his time between the Nuggets' NBA roster and their NBA G League affiliate, the Grand Rapids Gold.

Alexander began his collegiate career at Creighton University in 2021. In his sophomore season, he became a key piece in the Bluejays' starting lineup, making 72 consecutive starts. During the 2023-24 season, he showcased his best performance yet, averaging an impressive 17.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game.

Joining the Denver Nuggets

Following his impressive college season, Alexander signed a two-way contract with the reigning NBA World Champion Denver Nuggets in 2023. This contract allows him to play for both the Nuggets and their G League affiliate, providing him with valuable experience in both environments. As a member of the Nuggets, he has primarily played in the backup point guard role behind All-Star Jamal Murray.
