Another Senior Pml N Leader Opposes Ban On Pti

Another senior PML-N leader opposes ban on PTI

The Express Tribune | July 19, 2024

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ahsan Iqbal has opposed the ban on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying it is "undemocratic and unconstitutional".

In a statement, Iqbal said that the ban on PTI is a "blatant attack on democracy and the rule of law". He said that the government is trying to silence its political opponents by banning them from participating in the political process.

Iqbal urged the government to reconsider its decision and allow the PTI to participate in the upcoming elections. He said that the people of Pakistan have the right to choose their leaders, and they should not be denied this right by the government.

The government has not yet responded to Iqbal's statement. However, it is likely that the ban on PTI will remain in place until the next elections are held.
