Path of Totality and Partial Eclipse Visibility
The path of totality, where the Moon completely blocks the Sun, will stretch from Texas to Maine. The total eclipse will be visible in parts of 15 US states: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.
A partial eclipse will be visible throughout all 48 contiguous states. Observers outside the path of totality will witness a portion of the Sun being covered by the Moon.
